Hello again! Well, today is November 7 and that means chapter 5 is available now!
Our chapter 4 ended with a very special petition from Evie to her grandfather, Edward, who in another life used to be a telepath and is, therefore, her only hope against what she considers to be “Andy’s hateful gift”. In this new chapter we have a small time-skip to explore not only what this petition has involved but also how Evelyn has adapted to change and the responsibility that hangs over her as savior of Eridan. The name of the chapter is a whole declaration of intentions, because we’re also about to see a few hints from the characters’ pasts that are gonna help us understand them a bit better…and comprehend why they behave the way they do. I hope you’re ready for it.
That being said, enjoy reading!
So this has been chapter 5! This one is a chapter tied to emotions and the roots of several characters, and, as a curiosity, I’ll tell you that precisely because of that insight is one of my favorites from part one. In it we’ve seen a small turning point in Evelyn and Andy’s relationship, we start to understand them (and them to each other, too) better thanks to that small peak to their respective pasts, we’ve had an scene about Dani and Evie, who are the absolute BROTP on this first book, and you have learnt a bit more about the circumstances of that secrecy surrounding Rebeca Nicholson.
In chapter 6 things are getting really interesting. As a preview I can tell you that Andy has lightened up the flame of curiosity in Evelyn’s mind…and you can’t dare Evelyn Anderson because she’ll jump into the challenge without even blinking. You’ll find out why and on what exactly she’s gotten into on November 21!
As usual, before leaving, I thank you to the moon and back for reading (and encourage you to comment too, if you feel like it).
