Hi again! As I promised, here you have chapter 10!
Previous chapters revolved around the appearance of Elena Anderson, the bond she and Evelyn share and the consequences those news have in the castle and inside the Harried-Anderson family. Today we step away a bit from that whole matter and we take a step inside Evie’s past to break loose a pain our protagonist has been hiding and avoiding for too long.
Enjoy the reading!
So, this has been chapter 10, a highly emotive chapter that, I hope, has touched your heart at least a small bit. In it we have explored Evelyn’s trauma (two of them, in fact) and she has taken the first steps to break free, to accept what happened to her best friend and understand there are some things that can’t be ignored or buried forever, but need to be treated and spoken about.
This is probably one of the hardest and toughest chapters of the Pygmalion, or, at least, from this first part. It deals with two specially difficult problems: death and toxic relationships. I hope to have managed them with the respect both issues deserve. Inside the story, we finally discover what exactly happened to Rebeca Nicholson (a character that I’ll add to the list in a few days), the cause of Evie’s fears about any kind of romantic bond, and we see an important understanding with Andy, whose perception of Evelyn’s pre-Eridan life has changed drastically.
Hope you’ve liked the chapter; we’ll read each other around on March 6 for chapter 11. As always, I encourage you to leave comments and follow us in social media, on the top right corner or the bottom of the page. Be safe and take care!
